Metal disks with thin segments: thanks to this innovative idea, Veglio Tyrolit has rapidly become popular on the Italian market for tools for the marble industry. Since 1973, the company founded and managed by Oreste Veglio has experienced a remarkable growth and is now a leader in the international stone sector.

Veglio Tyrolit is an "open workshop", where products are constantly improved. The fist disks with thin segments and a special metal composition offered particular advantages in the process of marble sawing. The company now concentrates on the manufacture of high-tech diamond disks, which have been awarded several important prizes both in Italy and abroad.

Veglio Tyrolit was the first company in the marble sector to obtain the international Certification ISO 9002 for product quality in 1990 (and now it occupies the 8th position in the general classification of all sectors). Another success followed four years later: the Certification ISO 9001 is a guarantee of quality for the entire company's activity, from the production stages to the customer service.
In 1999 Veglio Tyrolit signed an important joint-venture contract and Tyrolit came on board- the Schleifmittelwerke Swarowski Group. Oreste Veglio is the Italian official representative in the F.E.P.A., (fifth commission) the European Federation of Abrasives Manufacturers.

Diamond Blades for marble, sandstone and agglomerate materials These blades are available with segments for marble, sandstone and agglomerate materials in different bonds, according to the frame characteristics and the material.

Discs for asfalt, concrete, and wall sawing Discs for asphalt cutting that are available in diameters from 300 to 1200 mm. All the discs have the hammer-reinforcements (SV version)or the biaised reinforcements (SE version) according to the machine power and to the pavement. Discs for concrete that are available in diameters from 300 to 1200 mm with different solutions for reinforced, green or old concrete. They are also available laser welded in diameters from 300 to 625 for big orders. Discs for wall sawing available in diameters from 300 to 1200 with suitable bonds for normal and reinforced walls. Execution with reduced core thickness for very low powered machines.

Granite DIA 900-4000 These diamond discs are produced in sandwich version for both single and multi-blade machines. They are available with 10 mm height conical and 20 mm height semi-conical.

Marble discs 250-3000 Veglio Tyrolit manufactures different diameter diamond discs for marble lavoration, depending on the use they are made for. There are marble discs with diameter from 250 to 1200 for universal cutting machines. In this case, segments are produced in the lenght of 40 mm up to 825 diameter and 24 mm from 900 diameter on, with a standard diamond height of 7 mm. Sandwich segments on request. Execution with 5+2 height is available for big orders. There are also marble diameters 350-3000 for block cutting machines. The segments are produced 40 mm long, 7 mm high or 5+2 mm up to 825 mm diameter and 20/24 mm long, 7.5/5+2 mm high from 900 mm on. sandwich segments on request. There are also circular saw blades for horizontal cutting: the execution with special thickness of core and segments.

Diamond wire Veglio Tyrolit manufactures two different types of diamond wire: sintered "press-ring" (patented) and electroplated wire.

Calibrating and Polishing Operations Veglio Tyrolit manufatures different tools for calibrating and polishing operations for marble, sandstone and granite. Fickert inserts, frankfurt inserts, smoothing supports, rolls, plates for calibrating, wet grinders and continous rim grinders for edge polishing.
