Precision
Products produces precision timing and multi-V belts,
pulleys, tires, and coated
fabric for manufacturers of small mechanisms and has two
production facilities located in Manheim, Pennsylvania and
Lincoln, England.
Industrial
Products manufacturers link V-belts, keyless bushings,
urethane belting, composite pulleys, and tensioners for
mechanical power transmission, motion control and
conveying.
In addition to our two U.S. production facilities located
in Manheim, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, North Carolina,
our sister company, BTL, is located in Leeds, West
Yorkshire, England.

MineFLEX
combines a unique straight-warp carcass with specially
compounded fire resistant rubber covers. Straight
warp, unlike conventional crimp weave fabrics, is a
unique
weave process. The lengthwise and crosswise strength is
concentrated in parallel planes of straight, heavyweight,
high strength synthetic yarns joined together by a unique
binder system.
A
high level of fire-resistance is sometimes specified,
together with special cover properties more readily
achieved with synthetic rubber compounds. Fenaplast FRSR
belting is Fenaplast FR with the addition of single or
double covers of nitrile rubber.
The second cover may be either a similar quality rubber
or high-grip PVC compound. Increased belt life, steep
gradient conveying, or the overcoming of conveying
problems in fire hazard areas are the main considerations
for this type of belting. |
