Installation of Stepping Stones
  • Plan a path.
  • Lay stones out along the planned path. The stones should be appropriate size for walking.
  • Trace their shape and mark their position.
  • Remove the grass and dig on the marked position.
  • Place the stones and add builder's sand to the hole to level them. This will also hold the stones in place.
  • The stones will eventually settle, so add sand until they sit slightly above the surface.
  • Add mulch around the stones.
  • This gives way to a beautiful walkway.
