Name
Of Mineral : Industrial white marble and dolomite
Location: B.C. Canada
Estimated Quantity: " Multi - Million Tonne Potential"
INTRODUCTION
: The Whit e
Eagle industrial mineral property was located by its current
owner, Craig Lynes of Rich River Exploration Ltd.
The claims cover a substantial deposit of white industrial
marble.
LOCATION AND ACCESS : The White Eagle claims are located on
map sheet 82L/15W in the Revelstoke Mining Division, British
Columbia Canada.
The claims are situated in a logged area of low to moderate
relief on the south slope of Queest mountain at 4,025 feet
asl.
Access from the Trans Canada Highway and the main branch of
the Canadian Pacific Railway Line is gained via the Queest
Forest Service Road for 14.8 Km. then 7.5 km. on another
logging road, a further 3.8 km. access road leads to the
claimed area.
REGIONAL
GEOLOGY :The White Eagle is underlain by rocks of the Eagle
Bay assemblage consisting of mostly unit *Em. This Unit is a
distinctive, clean, white to light grey marble than ranges
from 0 to 200 metres in structural thickness.
It is inferred to be correlative with the Lower Cambrian
Tshinakin Marble, the Badshot Formation and the Bralco Marble
Unit. Unit *Em forms a traceable layer that exceeds
10 km. in length and up to 1 km. in width within the claim
area.

Complex ( Open File 1990-30 ) Geology by Bradford J. Johnson
PROPERTY The 480 acres, White Eagle claims are centred on
substantial outcroppings of white marble. Large exposures of
white crystalline limestone occurs as bluffs and ridges in
several places, along the entire 1 km. width and 2 km. strike
length of the property. Several trenches, road cuts and
excavations have been made during logging and by previous work
programs.
CONCLUSIONS:
Field observations indicate that the White Eagle group meets
several important necessary factors needed, to host an
economic deposit of Industrial minerals ie, commodity, tonnage
potential, road access, low to moderate topographical relief,
cellular phone coverage, close proximity to major
transportation routes, and the local availability of
industrial areas for the construction of production plant
facilities, power, water etc.
The claims are located in an area of clear cut logging that
has provided good road access. The nearest community of
Malakwa B.C., approximately 9 km. southeast by road, is
primarily a resource-based town, with the forest and lumber
milling industries being the primary employers.
RECOMMENDATIONS
: It is possible that several uses can be found for the very
large amount of crystalline limestone on this property
including: filler and coating applications as P.C.C. and
G.C.C., stucco, agricultural and industrial purposes,
landscape rock and dimension stone. Due to the very large
amount of varied exposures of marble on this property, an
extensive program of sampling, geological mapping, trenching,
road repair and drilling is recommended to properly evaluate
this property.
