Geology:
PreCambrian age white marbles intruded by aplitic
and quartz feldspar dykes.
Mineralization:
Flake graphite hosted by marbles occurs close
to the contacts with acid intrusives. Massive
and semi-massive graphite zones are commom.
One zone 30' wide along a strike distance of
at least 2000 feet in length.

1917: First work, stripping & trenching
(Beidelman & Lyall) until ~1996:
Surface & mining rights held by private
individuals
1998: Mining rights came open, property
was staked, detailed geological mapping and
VLF/EM surveys (R. Stewart)
1999: Stripping and sampling (R. Stewart)
Results:
Geological ore reserves of at least 500,000
t grading 8.00% graphite have been identified.
Additional stripping and diamond drilling are
required to verify and expand the above tonnages.
